Red Leaf Hollow Farms

Making Life a Little Sweeter!

About

We are a family owned maple farm located in Jay, Vermont.

We Specialize in making 100% Pure Vermont Maple Syrup from our maple trees.

We started sugaring in spring of 2007 with 20 sap buckets and a turkey fryer. After hours and hours of boiling the water out of the sap, we were left with a very dark, sweet liquid that got us hooked. We immediately expanded to 100 buckets and an actual evaporator and were excited to make our first quart a day or so later. In the last 8 years, we have continued to learn more and more about maple and have expanded our sugarbush and sugarhouse to become the farm we are today. With over 10,000 tapped trees, we produce a couple thousand gallons of syrup a season. This allows us to maintain  our famous small batch quality in large enough amounts to fill any size order. We love what we do and love the sweet outcome even more! But mostly, we love sharing all of this with our customers and Making Life a Little Sweeter, every day.

Red Leaf Hollow Farms is owned and managed by USMC veteran, Jon Rybkiewicz and his wife Melissa.

We are proud of our syrup, proud of our country and proud that 90% of our workforce are veterans from various branches of the military.

We offer discounts for both active military and veterans so please contact us for coupon codes.

Nutritional Info: Provided by the Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association

Maple syrup contains an abundant amount of naturally occurring minerals such as calcium, manganese, potassium and magnesium. And like broccoli and bananas, it’s a natural source of beneficial antioxidants.

Antioxidants have been shown to help prevent cancer, support the immune system, lower blood pressure and slow the effects of aging. Maple syrup is also a better source of some nutrients than apples, eggs or bread. It’s more nutritious than all other common sweeteners, contains one of the lowest calorie levels, and has been shown to have healthy glycemic qualities.

Maple syrup was the original natural sweetener. Native Peoples in North America were the first to recognize 100% pure maple syrup as a source of nutrition and energy. Since then, researchers have been documenting that maple syrup has a higher nutritional value than all other common sweeteners. In addition, researchers have found that pure maple syrup contains numerous phenolic compounds, commonly found in plants and in agricultural products such as blueberries, tea, red wine and flax-seed. Some of these compounds may benefit human health in significant ways.

So go ahead and satisfy that sweet tooth with something that not only tastes great…but is naturally good FOR you!
